These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Collegefind.ai platform, operated by DeepCampus Inc. ("Company", "we", "us", or "our"). By creating an account or using any part of the service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the platform.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing collegefind.ai or any associated mobile or API interface, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to these Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated here by reference.
If you are using the service on behalf of an organisation (such as a school or counselling agency), you represent that you have authority to bind that organisation to these Terms, and "you" refers to both you individually and the organisation.
2. Description of Service
Collegefind.ai is an AI-powered college counselling platform designed to help international students research, shortlist, and apply to universities in the United States. The platform provides:
- Personalised university discovery and shortlisting tools

Important limitation of service
Collegefind.ai is a technology tool, not a licensed educational or admissions counsellor. Nothing on this platform constitutes professional admissions advice, a guarantee of admission, a prediction of outcomes, or a representation that any university will respond favourably to an application. See Section 9 for our full AI disclaimer.
3. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use Collegefind.ai. By registering, you represent and warrant that:
- You meet the minimum age requirement
- If you are between 13 and 17, a parent or legal guardian has reviewed and agrees to these Terms on your behalf
- You are not barred from receiving services under applicable law in your jurisdiction
- All registration information you provide is accurate, current, and complete
We reserve the right to terminate accounts where we have reason to believe the eligibility requirements are not met.
4. User Accounts and Responsibilities
4.1 Account creation
You may register using a Google account (via OAuth) or with an email address and password. Each person may maintain only one active account. Creating multiple accounts to circumvent restrictions or gain additional free usage is prohibited.
4.2 Account security
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must notify us immediately at support@collegefind.ai if you become aware of any unauthorised use of your account. We are not liable for losses resulting from unauthorised access that occurred due to your failure to protect your credentials.
4.3 Accurate information
You agree to keep your account information accurate and up to date. Providing false academic credentials, fabricated test scores, or any other misleading information through the platform violates these Terms and may result in immediate account termination.
5. Acceptable Use Policy
You agree to use the platform only for its intended purpose: researching and preparing your personal college application. The following conduct is strictly prohibited:
- Using the platform to create, distribute, or submit fraudulent academic materials, plagiarised content, or any content that misrepresents your identity or credentials to universities

- Creating accounts for others without their knowledge or consent
Violations of this Acceptable Use Policy may result in immediate suspension or permanent termination of your account, at our sole discretion.
6. Subscriptions, Billing, and Refunds
6.1 Subscription plans
Collegefind.ai offers both a free tier with limited features and paid subscription plans with expanded access. Paid plans are billed on a recurring monthly or annual basis, as selected at checkout. Current plan details and pricing are available on our pricing page.
6.2 Billing and payment
By subscribing to a paid plan, you authorise DeepCampus Inc. to charge your payment method on a recurring basis at the then-current plan price until you cancel. Payments are processed by Stripe Inc. All amounts are stated in US dollars unless otherwise indicated. You are responsible for any taxes applicable in your jurisdiction.
6.3 Cancellation
You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Upon cancellation, your paid access continues until the end of your current billing period. Your account then reverts to the free tier. Cancellation does not delete your account or data.
6.4 Refund policy
All subscription fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds or credits for partial months, unused features, or periods during which you chose not to use the platform. If you cancel mid-cycle, you retain access through the end of that billing period; no partial refund is issued.
Exceptions may be made at our sole discretion in cases of demonstrable billing errors or service outages of significant duration. To request a review, contact us at support@collegefind.ai within 7 days of the charge.
6.5 Price changes
We reserve the right to change subscription prices with 30 days' advance notice. Notice will be provided by email to your registered address. Your continued subscription after the effective date of a price change constitutes acceptance of the new price. If you do not accept the new price, you may cancel before the change takes effect.
7. User-Generated Content
7.1 Ownership
You retain full ownership of all original content you create or upload on the platform, including essays, statements of purpose, personal statements, cover letters, resumes, and any other documents ("Your Content"). We claim no ownership over Your Content.
7.2 Licence to us
By uploading or creating content on Collegefind.ai, you grant DeepCampus Inc. a limited, non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, reproduce, process, and display Your Content solely for the purpose of providing and improving the service to you. This licence is revoked when you delete the content or your account.
We do not use your essays or personal statements to train AI models. We do not share Your Content with universities or third parties without your explicit consent.
7.3 Your representations
By uploading content, you represent that you own it or have the rights to use it, and that it does not infringe the intellectual property, privacy, or other rights of any third party.
7.4 Academic integrity
The AI writing tools on Collegefind.ai are designed to help you develop and improve your own ideas, not to ghost-write applications on your behalf. You are solely responsible for ensuring that any content you submit to universities complies with their policies on AI use and academic integrity. We strongly encourage you to review each institution's application guidelines before submitting AI-assisted content.
8. Intellectual Property
The Collegefind.ai platform, including its design, software, AI models, algorithms, databases, interface, branding, trademarks, and all content created by DeepCampus Inc. 10.3 Essential basis of the bargain
You acknowledge that the limitations of liability in this Section 10 reflect a reasonable allocation of risk and are an essential element of the basis of the bargain between you and DeepCampus Inc. Without these limitations, the service could not be offered at its current pricing.

12.2 By us
We may suspend or terminate your account at any time, with or without notice, if we reasonably believe you have violated these Terms, engaged in fraudulent or illegal activity, or if your account poses a risk to the platform or other users. The arbitration shall be conducted in Delaware or, if you prefer, by telephone or video conference. Each party will bear its own costs unless the arbitrator determines otherwise.
Notwithstanding the above, either party may seek injunctive or other equitable relief in a court of competent jurisdiction to protect intellectual property rights or prevent irreparable harm. You and DeepCampus Inc. each waive any right to a jury trial and agree to resolve disputes only on an individual basis, not as part of any class or representative action.
14. Changes to These Terms
We may modify these Terms at any time. When we make material changes, we will notify you by email at least 14 days before the changes take effect and post an updated version at collegefind.ai/terms with a revised effective date.
